The Red Thread

Follow the barrier-free tourist guidance system and take a tour of the city ‘on your own’. Since 1970, the Red Thread has led you along 4.2 kilometres of the city's 36 sightseeing highlights. The line is painted on the ground and allows you to explore the city on your own. For once, it does not include the famous Maschsee or the green Eilenriede, but shows what else the city has to offer in the city jungle.
